I kinda hope they make it cost vortexes At least it could be 310% speed then, i rather suspect itll just be 280%. probably one of the ugly gnome flyers.
My guess is nethers for the normal and vortexes for the epic one. Apart from that loads of khorium, elementium and adamantite and I seriously hope it wont be butt ugly.
I am kinda unhappy with Shadowstep though. I liked my farming rogue with that ability and without cooldown. This is a really nice buff to PvE shamans. All shamans will have 0,5 sec reduced cast time on lightning (nice for leotheras), The elemental shamans wont feel a difference, as the talents has been adjusted for the change. The clearcast is reduced from 100% to 2x40% mana savings, but mana cost of lightning bolt ans chain lightning reduced by default. Probably evens out in the end. And more threat reduction on melee. And Water Shield Spam for extra mana regen, its going to be really nice. Every inute returning mana from each unused charge.

The way i understand this, is that devastate is becoming a replacement to Sunder Armor completly. Devastate(Rank 3) would then be able to do the following (at lvl 70):
Ragecost: (15-3-3)=9
Instant Attack, dealing 50% weapon damedge + 35
Applies Sunder Armor(rank 6): Armor Reduced by 520, stacking up to 5 time for 30 Seconds Generates a high Amount of Threat
Renews the duration of Sunder Armors on the target

Will work on warlock / mage gear, since mostly that has damage + healing on it.
I doubt it. I suppose they will change pure +healing items to give 1/3 % in damage, rather than just multiply all damage/healing *1.33. That way say the Spellpower enchant will still give 40 damage and healing and the greater healing one will give 81 healing and 27 spell damage. Which will make spell power of course better for dps and healing for healers while giving them the edge that allows them to actually kill things.
This is awesome for hybrid builds (Mana-mend/moonglow spec) and quite good for my resto self as well, esp. with the change of intensity (more mana regen!), which makes spirit stacking even better now.

no actually, this means its "always" useful in pve. you dont need to get hit by it anymore.. but you always gain the mana http://thottbot.com/s33736 Basically it's a free.. 400-500 mana pe rminute. ~10 mp/5 or so, for no extra effort to the shamans.
Cast time below 3 sec means that lightning does indeed get less of an effect from spell damage.
